Brief History
The centre was erected following a community "buy-a-brick" scheme to fund the building.
Opened by the Lady Mayoress, Mrs Margaret Firth, on 31st March 1973.

The space is made up of a main hall with stage, bar and fully equipped kitchen. Outside there is a lawn and ample free parking.
